Steph is a grandpatrent of a child currently in Year 1 and has another grandchild due to start in the next academic year. I commenced part-time employment this year and as a result have some free time to get involved as a governor at the school.

I have a masters degree in education management and I have been a governor in both primary and secondary schools since 1994, I have been a secondary presentative on Leicester City School Forum for the last 15 years. I am employed as the Business Manager at Moat Community College where I am responsible for all strategic resource management including fiance and HR. I am certified for safer recruitment until 2020. I am also Educational Visits Co-ordinator for the college, data protection officer and line manager for all support staff.

Whilst my recent involvement has been mainly in the secondary sector as a grandparent I am interested to learn more about the primary sector and feel I have a lot to offer as a parent governor.

BSs (Hons) Retail Manangement at Loughborough Business School, HCPC Registered Hearing Aid audiologist. Father of two daughters attending Ratby Primary School. Paul’s current leadership role brings many experiences and activities relevant and helpful to a school governor role. Currently responsible for: recruitment, training, development and on-going leadership of a team of registered healthcare professionals. This involves targets and financial budges, clinical and professional standards, commercial and customer care outcomes, business growth and development, varied HR processes, content creation and presentation at meetings/events. Living the village with a typical hectic modern life, Paul loves to spend time with his wife, family and friends, getting away frequently to enjoy the outdoors and sharing experiences, whether walking his two whippets or exploring on bikes now the girls  are both able to ride well.
